Is there an on/off switch or do I need to change the bulb? Or ??? This machine belongs to a neighbor who passed away - his widow said I can use it all I want. I have the manuals but I can't find anything about this particular problem. Thanks in advance... Dave

If you have a dc test light you can check for power where the light plugs in. If it's not the bulb I would suspect a wire or crude on a connection( not making good contact.)

Thank you both for your suggestions - I removed the bulb and could see that the filament was broken, so the mystery is solved. We got a foot of snow today so can't get to an auto parts store to get another one so I guess I won't be able to move any snow after dark. I cleared everything just in time, so I'll be able to take another run at it in the morning if we get more overnight as predicted. Thanks again Dave
