Purchased a preowned snowblower told it is around 15 yrs old.  Used it a couple times now the auger is not turning.  The bolt is not sheared on the auger.  Thoughts are there must be a drive belt with adjustment or might need to be replaced.  Thoughts were to check with someone with knowledge on next steps.  Is  there  an adjustment and if belt needs to be replaced is it hard?

Nothing is hard the second time,   It's not too bad the first time eather....  Take a couple of digital picture so you have a blue print of how it goes back together...

The idler adjustment is on the right hand side of the machine under the plastic cover at the front of the engine. In case you have to replace the belt(s), check http://www.abbysguide.com/ope/discussions/25001-0-1.html
