Hi guys, even though I had my snowblower for 2 years I never had to change a shear bolt until now, It seem that part of the bolt is stuck and hard as I try I cant get it out.I brought a metal drill bit and see if I can bore out, unless you gentlemen have a better suggestion, thank you,Calogero.

Hi and welcome to the OPE forum... Get some oil on the broken bolt... preferably a penetrating type oil... I'd try to knock it out... using a hammer & punch... or stiff nail... screwdriver... another shear bolt... or whatever... ...while ensuring the shear bolt hole is lined up in the outter auger shaft...On a previous snowblower... I recall drilling the outer auger shaft's shear bolt holes just a little larger to make it easier to knock out the broken shear bolt piece... Dave...
Whether you think you can or you can't... you're right.Henry Ford BCS Tractor & snowblower
