...what's the tallest intake height available ?

Would anyone want / buy one with a taller intake height ?
Skinny and tall... maybe blonde too... !

Question came to mind after reading another post with 30"+ deep snow...

Dave- Do you mean the height of the auger bucket ? The height of the bucket on my st1236 is 21" and I had snow going over all day. - Kris

I guess then 36" tall would be optimum to swallow up those drifts and EOD piles,but then we would need more horsepower. When I made the first cut with my machine (st1236) I had to roll forward stop and let the machine clear out and then roll forward again and stop etc.. - Kris

I think my buddy has a 32 incher on his 7 year old Murray track drive unit with the 13 hp engine. I will have to confirm that with him Dave when I see him this week.

Honda 928TA, Ariens 924 STE, Toro single stage S-620, 95 Jeep Wrangler with a 6 foot Fisher Plow, many shovels, one 14 year old boy. Craftsman 01 1000 LTX pimp Gold LT 20hp Briggs OHV V-twin. Tough as it is ugly.

Terminator- My machine is 12hp. (Ariens ST1236) the first number is hp and the second is bucket width. - Kris

The intake height on Krislu's thrower must be 24 inches or so.
