Ariens ST824 Gearcase Fluid

I just inherited an ST824 - Model 924050 Ser # 092227 - I am not sure about the gear case fluid type - and would appreciate any help with that - I'm not sure if I need the liquid grease or gear oil type - Also for those in the Know - anyone have an idea what year this unit is - Thanks for any help

Hey cando did you know that your local NAPA store can get a lot of parts for that rebuild.
