Composite Scrape Bar Similar To Ariens Composite Skid Shoes?

Hi,
Wondering if anybody has seen a composite scraper bar similar to the Ariens composite shoes.  Do you think that would work?  Also, what material are the Ariens shoes, UHMW-PE?

Have not seen one and something i've wondered about myself. Easy to fabricate though if you can't find it.  Some heavy conveyor belt rubber might work also with the advantage of a cleaner "cut'
