hey guys need help ..... the newer model of walbro carbs as an adjusting screws to adjust the carb which is not standard  screw driver..

    look on the net and ask local dealers  and they said its only for professionals or trademan ???? {meaning i have to bring my machine to a shop so they can adjust my carb for$$$$$} which i can do myself but cant get the tool to do it ????? ...please any help

while from my experience u shouldnt need a "specail tool" just a screw driver small one. alot of the newer carb have plastic tabs on them so they can only be adjusted a little bit (for emissions) anyways u can just pop them off and adjust as if  they werent there. 

niper99    sounds like you might have been out of the loop for awhile.  most of the newer units no longer have the plastic limiter caps on them.  they went to special screws.  5 all total    you have a screw cap that is splined,  d-shaped,  double d-shaped,  one that looks like pac-man  and one that is flat except for a dimple in it.

l apollagise MECH is correct with the adjustment of the newer carbs, yeah l dont do to many never 2 strokes anymore so appearently l need to invest in some new carb adjusting tools.
