HELP toro 7/24
Original Message   Jan 15, 2009 8:15 pm
HELP,

I have a Toro 7/24  Model 38050 ser 0017886.  Engine is a Tecumsen H70-130176E.

I changed the oil by removing the Cap Nut at the end of the drain pipe.  I refilled with new oil.  Started blowing snow and noticed oil drops in the snow.  I looked down and oil was spraying out of the breather hose.  I check the oil level and there was none on the dip stick.

Anyone have any idea why it did this?

Thanks.

As Borat said!

Letting the engine sit a few minutes will allow the oil to settle. Also, remember that new oil is cleaner and harder to see of the dipstick, and letting it cool down will make it stickier and easier to see.
