Hi there, i just bought a used Canadiana (5 hp)  runs very well but i want to maintain it properly but do not have a manual. the model number sticker is faded and i cannot tell whatmodel this tecumseh is.  i was going to paste a picture but it wouldnt let me so i will try and describe....looking from the back (where you walk) you see the pull rope at the back of the unit, about that is the Tecumseh sticker andto the left of the sticker is the primer soft rubber push button.  to the  left of the primer button there is a hard plastic 3 position knob used for the choke (wide open is to the far right, med in the middle and very little open to the far left).  spark plug is on top and the gas container is on the far upper right side..

I also have a Canadiana snow blower like Steve has but it is yellow. I would like to know where to buy or get a manual & maintainence.

For the Tecumseh motor, the model / serial number should be stamped on the sheet metal housing for the pull starter. Normally in the area where it curves over the top towards the spark plug and the 3 large bolt heads hold it in place. Once you have that there is a lot of reference material you can get from the web for the engine.
