Toro Model 38510 / Serial 9001844 Relacing the Gear-Helical, is there a key that holds the gear on ?
Original Message   Sep 23, 2008 9:46 am
Hello,

I am trying to replace the Gear-Helical On a Toro 624 Powershift  Model 38510 / Serial 9001844 . Is it a key that holds the gear on the Shaft? How do you remove it?

Thanks, Alan

The gear can become jamed into the key on the shaft you just have to press it off.
