Homelite string trimmer line replacement
Original Message   Jul 20, 2008 7:59 pm
Can someone explain how to replace the string on a gas string trimmer.  Which way does the line have to be wound?

Thanks, for your help.

my string winds to the left there should be a arrow or markes that show the way to wind most wind left releases to right and head spinns to right.

If the arrows are not there,  you want to wind it in the oposite direction that the head turns
