JD 265 tubeless tires
Original Message   Apr 9, 2008 10:50 pm
I have a JD 265 with tubeless tires.  Last year, every week, I had to add air to the front tire.  Now the back tire has the same problem.  I haven't inspected the tires or the rims yet but was wondering what I should do.  Should I get a tire sealant or anything to reseal around the rim?  Should I install inner tubes?  The tractor is probably close to 15 years old and don't want to spend a lot of money.

Thanks Mike

Throw the goo  in  them...  (the really thick stuff)..

Then drive the hell out of it to get in every crack and creavis of the tire.

Good Luck,

tube them    you have a 50/50 chance the liquid snot will work.  if there are small cracks inside the tire it might work.  it wont seal around the rims.  go with the tubes.  save a headache next year.
