Ariens 724 Snowblower.....drive problems...
Original Message   Feb 8, 2008 10:04 am
First of all thanks to anyone who may have some insight on this problem.

When I push down the "engage" handle, the blower doesn't move....if i shake it a little, it will begin to go....I contacted my local dealer, but they are swamped...If you watch the weather, we in the Chicago area have had a bit more of the white stuff than usual......they told me it might need a belt adjustment, my question is, is this something I can do myself? Is there anywhere where I can find a step by step procedure to deal with this problem?

With more snow coming would love to get it operational sooner than later....

I am fairly handy, but is this just too much of a project?

Thanks for your help!!
