John Deere 826
Original Message   Dec 17, 2007 4:46 pm
Hello all,

I just had a JD 826 given to me. I rebuikt the carb and changed the fuel lines. It started and ran for a little while. While it was idling the auger would turn slowley. When I went to engage the auger the motor would die. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Steve

Bumps means bring the post back to the top of the list.

Well apparently no one here knows whats going on with my snowblower here as well as myself.

Or no one really wants to help.

Last post all together!

Bye!

what style carb do you have on it???  the old style with idle and high speed mixture screws???  if so make sure the high speed nut is backed out  1 1/2 - 2 turns.  when you buy a factory rebuild kit,  the are screwed closed.  ive done this mistake before.
