mastercraft 3hp 2 cycle snowblower
Original Message   Dec 17, 2007 6:02 pm
Hello all,

I just join this discussion. I hope you guys  can help. I bought a used snowblower a mastercraft 3hp 2 cycle blower. It is good for what I use it for. My problem is after two uses. The belt that drives the augar snapped. Since I have no parts list. I took the broken belt to Canadain tire. They matched it the best they could. I put it in ran it for 45 minute and the belt smoked and snapped. My question is. Does anyone have a parts list for this blower. So I can order a proper belt for this machine. Any help would be good.

Thank you

Edward

You probaly put a L2 belt a little too large for the pulley. I had that problem with an old viking before so what I did , I took vise-grip and enlarge the pulley groove. Just make sure to pass in the steel grinder brush after. Its a delicate job to do but its worth by saving time, moneyand research too.

Good Luck
