tranny problems
Original Message   Jun 27, 2007 11:31 am
I have a murray trator (hydro tranny )  which i have used for the past 8 years , never had any problems until a few days back ,  now it just doesnt drive .

checked the belts , made whatever adjustments possible and nothing . i was told by a repair man that it was out of fluid and that needed to

buy another because the trany was sealed . i took down the tranny and began to explore and found that under the cooling fan on the tranny

was a rubber plug , i pulled it out and it was full of fluid .  what else can it be (open for advice )
