HS521 Snowthrower;  Not getting any gas. Starting fluid in the plug port and it will run till its buned up and then it will quit.  Had this thing apart three times so far.  Cleaned the carborator, needle valve(reset to 1 and a 1/2 turns outward), just not getting gas for some reason.  Any suggestions as to why  not?

I know these may sound dumb but I have done both of them:

  1. Do you have gas in the tank
  2. Is the gas turned on. Some blowers have a gas cutoff valve in addition to the throttle.

Could it be a clogged fuel line, or clogged fuel filter? I'd make sure that gas is getting to the carb before I tore the carb apart again.
