Thawing a snowblower by the furnace
Original Message   Jan 16, 2007 12:57 pm
My husband insists on thawing our snowblowers in the basements. I ask that he doesn't do this because of the open flames
on the fuel oil furnace and the LP furnace.  Am I over reacting and is there really nothing to worry about? Gas fumes from the snowblowers will not blow up our house?  I'm looking for facts either way, not just opinions. My opinion is that it is not a very smart thing to do and he says there's nothing to worry about.
