MTD Reassembly
Original Message   Nov 25, 2006 9:53 am
I have a 1995 MTD 8hp snowblower - Model 315e640f013. I had torn the machine apart to replace an Auger, but when I put it back together the auger pulleys seem to be rubbing tight against the box frame. The only parts that I saw was the pulley adapter that wen directly against the bearing ( with the bearing sitting flat, but when you tighten the pulleys down they seem to get too tight and rub against the frame? I know its probably something simple but I also noticed the belts appear to not roll right as well?

thanks for any suggestions.

Maybe some parts got out of order when you reassembled the machine. Do you have an "exploded" view of the machine which would show what parts go where? If not, try the following web site: http://www.ordertree.com/ARI.aspx?Mfg=62&Model=315E640F013 (1995)
