I did something dumb lol I need a easy way to fix my Toro
Original Message   Sep 27, 2006 6:32 am
I have a key start toro push mower, a nice one, but it got left in the rain and the airfilter lid was off so all that rain water went in there, how should  go about fixing this?

I don't know that there will be an easy way to fix it. Sounds like you will have to get the carb taken appart and cleaned.

Get machine out of rain;
Remove air filter and buy a new one or dry it out;
Put dry filter in;
Start engine ( hopefully).

The air filter probably stopped water from getting into the carburettor, if not then dry the machine out by keeping it reasonably warm and dry for a day or two.
