snapper 722 auger issues
Original Message   Mar 16, 2006 10:34 pm
I have older snapper snowblower and this evening it started to act up a little.  The augers stop turning in deeper snow for a few seconds then start back up.  It seems like the belt is slipping but it looks fine.  If anyone can help me out with a couple of tips that would be great.  Thanks!

I'm not exactly sure what setup your Snapper has, but to tighten the auger tension, either you have to adjust the idler pulley underneath the belt cover, or shorten the actuating rod that goes to the clutch handle on the handlebars.
