Big Spark at kill switch
Original Message   Jan 8, 2006 12:30 pm
I went to turn off my Tec 80 , I lowered the throttle lever down to the kill switch and there were lots of sparks. I went to restart nothing, no spark . I had just replaced the points ,condenser, and coil .  I connected it just the way I took it out. First start with the new components was ok. Turned it off and now no spark. Any ideas?  Thanks

I suspect that maybe, maybe some wires out there toasted!

OR

check dynamo wheel inside for kinks, loose mounting, well I'm sticking to that possible wire has no continuity

take a multimeter and check the wires all the wires you see check them carefully for continuity ok.

<come back with it, I'm not going to far :)
