4.5 yard machine
Original Message   Dec 17, 2005 10:35 am
I was just given this snow blower and it did work last winter...

it has only about 10 hours on it.

I can not start it, I have changed the gas and cleaned the spark plug as well made sure the gas line was free and open.

the carb is getting gas so i am confused.

I tried to start it with the spark plug out (to see if there was a spark) and still nothing.

any ideas?

Thanks

artie

If the bottom of the sparkplug is touching the engine metal as well... there should be a spark..

Found the problem.

took the float basket off and found the float incased in ice, somehow water accumulated and froze.

all is well

Thanks

Artie
