Toro ccr2450 Recoil Starter
Original Message   Dec 15, 2005 10:06 pm
Snowblowing tonight and the snowblower kept dying on me. I figured it was lots of wet heavy snow, stale fuel, or a combination of both. I would wait, restart and continue to move snow until it stalled again. Repeated this several times until the recoil starter refused to be pulled. It's jammed, won't pull out. Any ideas on what is wrong and how to fix it.

Any help is much appreciated.

There is a recall on your model machine. take it to your local dealer and they will fix it free. The problem is that ice is builing up on the carb and once it melts you are good to go untill it happens again. they have a kit that fixes this problem. if you tell them the pull start broke while trying to start it after it stalled while useing it they will most likely fix that free also.
