I am looking for a winch for general purpose use: car stuck in snow, garden tractor stuck in mud, help felling trees. Any info about winches would be appreciated.

Thanks

Are you looking to mount it on a truck, or just on a quad??   I have one on my truck I can vouch for.

You could get a $40 come-a-long at HD.

Hi...

I agree w/ robmints... a come-a-long is a good inexpensive choice...
