Info For Those Who Are Reviewing Their OPE
Original Message   Apr 25, 2005 6:48 pm
It has come to my attention that many reviews in the OPE section are showing a $0.00 amount at the cost area. The reason this is happening is because you all are putting a $ in there along with the amount. You must not do this because the computer is already going to put one in ther for you. For example, if the amount for that trimmer you bought costs 400 dollars than type in 400.00

Thankyou for your cooperation in this matter. People want to know how much that OPE costs!

well i have to agree with Termy on this one.

miss snowshoveler does a bunch of reviews ..which i seldom read and i keep telling her to put the price in.

dosent matter if she dosent buy the darn thing as long as she puts the price it can be bought for ,sale or regular.

ill get off my soap box now...and maybe hide under it till the dust settles.

hey Termy got a light

Yes I am reviewing a lot of OPE.  But if you notice it says US dollars in gray.  I do not live in the US and don't plan on trying to figure out how much each product costs in the States.  Sorry if you don't approve and Snowshoveler you do not tell me anything what so ever about my reviews.

This site is primarily a US site, I understand that.  But for those of us that are not in the States, we shouldn't have to figure out what the product would cost in US dollars.  It would be wrong to put in the Canadian prices and scare the US citizens into thinking that the prices are way too high and that I am being a sucker when buying these products.

I'm in the business, so I have the chance to see how alot of OPE works, and have the chance to use a lot of new gear.  So technically, I don't buy these products, so they do not cost me anything, I get to try them out and then I can give my opinion.

I can post Canadian prices, but they are going to be a little high because of the exchange.  Maybe there can be an option put in to say other countries.

Sherri,

Bless your heart, you don't need to put in prices, we know you're giving us reviews from your expertise of dealing with the products. We don't expect that of you! If someone is actually reading the review because they are looking to purchase that product, MSRP in US or Canadian dollars is more than likely known and if not, it's easily found.

Thank you so much for doing the reviews, please continue them!

I agree Sherry..........people can find the prices elsewhere....

I like the fact that you know the equipt. and that between you and Chris, you are aware of customer feedback, reliability issues etc.

Your reviews are much appreciated!
