                Hi Mike

You and I have something in common. Been climbing poles for 15 years now.

                     Take care and be safe!

Hey Mrmom, everything up there was deentergized we usallly only work stuff hot off a hotboard. It's a fiberglass board that straps to the pole and it insulates you from the pole. I love climbing on my crew we fight over who gets to climb liike kids over a toy lol. take are all have a great Sunday! later Mike

Mikefla1,

It seems to meet the criteria for OPE with both power (big time) and outdoors in the job.

Just curious, but does seniority determine who gets to be top man on the pole?

Honda stable: HS 724 snowblower;  HRS216 lawnmower; BF2 UWWW; 5 HP, 2200 psi/2.9 GPM pressure washer.

Electric: BV2500 B&D Leaf Hog/snow duster; old 12" Weedeater.

Hey Highwind, Well in some cases it does, but most of the time it's just who gets there tools on first goes up first. Hey Sawme  I was wondering you work for a power company or phone or cable?  Later Mike
