Re: What to use in a chute to prevent clogging?

I'm for the impeller kit too. I've read that a kids Crazy carpet, riveted to the auger and chute will stop snow from sticking as well. I've used several coats of car wax in the paste and it help. Ski wax should also make a difference.

This is the info I got from the website. The only snowblowers it will not fit are the smaller single stage ( the ones with the rubber on the auger ) and is not recommended for 2 stage snowblowers with the plastic impeller. More info is available on the website. http://smllengns.tripod.com/index.html

Have you looked into "Clarence Impeller Kit"? http://smllengns.tripod.com/ I made my own with some old rubber from an assembly line and it works great. There are videos on You Tube of others that have installed the kit to show how it works.

We had about 4-6 inches of snow, give or take, but the mild weather Thurs, Fri and yesterday cleared most of it up. Plus rain overnight into this morning. Come on spring! I'm live East of Toronto, Ont too. Over the years, we haven't been getting as much snow as we used to.

Hi folks!

New to this forum site and looking for help.

A friend of mine has the make and model # on a snowblower listed above. It appears to be missing a governor link or spring that operates the throttle when I move the handle to control the RPM's.

When I start it up, it's running at high speed. I immediately shut it off in case I damage the engine. The throttle will allow me to turn it off but won't turn down the speed.

I've looked at diagrams on line for this make but it's too difficult, for me, to try and put the puzzle together of what goes where.

Any help would be appreciated.

Stephen
