There was this once when a distant relative called our home to talk with my parents, but both of them was on the bathroom so I had to make small talk for what felt like hours on end. It was the most horrible thing since once we ran out of our only topic ~ the weather ~ we had /nothing/ to talk about, so there were deadperiods lasting about 30 seconds where no one said anything with me trying to act like I had a bad cough.
