Application recovery...........Man what a hassle
Original Message   Feb 2, 2005 9:08 pm
I was having problems with msn locking up my pc.Finally decided to wipe out my drive and start over.I loaded the recovery disks in about 3 times.I had no usb ports.Tried going into bios setup, turning this on and that, not knowing a damn thing...nothing.Reloaded the recovery disks again and tried to reload my printer.Sucksess.Loaded dsl again and it locked for the umteenth time.Called verizon and got on hold. Finally Dawn came on and walked me through some settings and such.I love you Dawn wherever you are.Now I just have to set up my old email accounts.Apple time

I gotta say I like it better than AOL.At least with this I can just open explorer and surf away.

I thought MSN was a great utility that Verizon offered.  Navihawk, great to hear everything is straightened out.

I am sorry that this happened to you! I have comcast cable internet and do not have to worry with ISP programs, but I do remember when I used to have dialup I had Juno as my ISP. And that was a pain in the A**s after another. You could say that dialup was a nightmare, and my decision to upgrade to braudband was the best thing I ever did. So If you have not figured out what I am trying to tell you yet, I am telling you to upgrade to braudband!

Thanks Ace...Term,I don't think dsl is worth the money, never mind cable.I have disks under one side of my tower to keep the fan from waking up the neighbors.
