I think so. Most databases are backed up during low traffic periods. This usually means the middle of the night. Anything posted prior to the last back up looks like it is lost.

I can appreciate all the work that goes into building a forum such as this from scratch. But obviously you had us migrate too quickly. I've had important posts and comments floating around here as well as others and now they are gone for the second time. If you're going to take the time to produce a new forum, take the time you require to make it right. Thank you for your efforts.

And we are certainly taking a lot of time to make it right, all all hours of the day or night, weekday or weekend. As this board is beta, things can happen and it must be used with caution. I don't know how things were represented to you in whatever communication you received to get to this site, but I'm telling you as the head developer that it is a beta Web site.
