Vacation
Original Message   Jun 20, 2005 9:35 am
It is that time of year again where the family and I go on our Canada vacation up in St. Andrews in New Brunswick.  If you need to reach me please contact a moderator as they know how to get in touch with me.  There is (or at least there was lol) a internet cafe up there where I was able to check in on occasion and will do that again.

See you all in two weeks, take care,

Chris

Chris,
Enjoy...!   May your vacation, (or "Holiday") as they say up north, be all that you want and need it to be.

Thank you Sherri, we did PEI last year, what a drive but it was a pretty place, felt like we were driving off of the earth lol....We will be there for two weeks, if for some reason my wife decides that we are going to take a road trip to NS I will get in touch with you just for kicks to see how close we would be lol....

We're between Bridgewater and Lunenburg.  Just some idea of how to find us if you would happen to get lost.

Well this year I am basically not really on vacation. However, when my nephue comes over, than I am. He just came over last week and I spent time with him playing games and all. Even road our bikes to the Hovander Park and looked at all the animals and took pictures. So, that is when I have a vacation, when he comes over lol. I am expecting him back before his vacation is over though.

Rob, then Chris.  Glad you can afford it.  I'm doing a game room right now, and that is taking up my time and money.  Hopefully I can get vacation in before the snow season comes around.

If you decide to do Nova Scotia again you'll have to look us up.  Did you enjoy the province?

Hello everyone.  The vacation is going great, we are all doing fine and having a wonderful time.  I am sorry I have not been able to check in as much as I did last year.  I will be returning home this next Sunday in the evening.

Sherri we will not be going to NS, our one day trip is going to be to the capital city of Fredericton tommorow.  We were there in the winter a few years back so it will be nice to see it in the summer time.

Hope you are all doing well and I will talk to you soon.

That's cool.  We had a day trip to Lockeport on Sunday.  (One of many day trips I hope to have this summer).  I have never been to Fredricton, but someday maybe I'll get there.  Been to Moncton lots, that's where most of our service schools are held and several of distributors are.  I'd just like to get around some of the smaller communties in Nova Scotia, I'm not one for big cities, but small towns and communities really get my attention.

Glad to hear you are having a great time.  Hope the weather is treating you well.

Well I am back, I missed you all, we had a great time and the weather was good.  Once back the wife has had me working on digging gardens and cutting back fallen trees and I had to cut the back field and weed wack the heck out of everything.  This is the first time since we got in late Sunday night that I could really sit down and start getting caught up on things.

Hope all is well with you all and hope you are all having a great summer.  I return to work unfortunately on Sat at 7 AM but such is life lol....

Glad you had a good time.  Hope the weather in New Brunswick was good.  We sure have been having some strange weather here in Nova Scoia.  I envy people that are able to have vacations.  It's seems that my vacations are weekends, nothing long and extended that Chris and I can go places, but that's the price that I have learned that I have to live with when working with my Dad.

Yes AJace, I am the shop's owners daughter so does make me bosses daughter.  Ask Chris we argue, scream, and get totally annoyed with each other every day.  We are too much alike and it scares me to think that I am like either of my parents.  To my wits end dealing with him through the day, but non working hours, it's almost like I have a father.

I can recall how that can be.  Just be glad they are there to help guide you.  I hear it has some advantages.

There are a few advantages like discounts, and the option to talk to didtributors and see what demo units are available.  That's how Chris and I got our Mantis tiller.  Of course there's the chance to be with Chris 24 - 7.  I also gained the knowledge to help others with the things I have learned at work.  But there are down sides too.  The OPE world is only starting to get more female oriented, for example, the weights of the machines are getting lighter and they are getting easier to start, the stance most (NOT ALL!) men take on a woman in the parts department is dim, even dimmer if they see her with grease on her hands.  So it's an uphill battle all the way.  But all and all it is changing for the better.  As for working with ones parents - I wouldn't recommend it, but it is a learning experience as is all jobs.

Sherri, I think it's great you have the opportunity to review OPE and put the reviews out.  I wonder when Chris will happen to do more.
