I figure women better fit the description of playing cards:

When you first meet her, she is the Queen of Hearts, but after you marry her, she spends to become the Queen of Diamonds, and her heart is really as black as the ace of spades. Too late you realize you've been dealt a joker from the bottom of the deck and should have folded, discarded or called a miss-deal.
