Favorite Desserts...
Original Message   May 28, 2005 12:00 pm
Well since I'm still trapped inside because of rain, I thought I'd do some baking.

What are some of your favorite desserts?  I currently have a pineapple upside down cake in the oven.

Well I just did the flip flop (this is the first one I ever made) and it looks like it turned out real well.

When can I expect you Rob?

I'm sure it turned out great. Thank you for the generous invitation, Sherri. I would love to come. If it would be OK, I would like a rain check. The dog and I are right in the middle of a butt sitting contest.

The best MIL in the world makes me two for my birthday. They are great.

I hope the weather clears for you soon, so you can enjoy some spring before summer.

Apple crumble, blueberry pie made with fresh picked wild blueberries (not the store bought ones that have a flat taste).

Favourite is pumpkin pie with just the right spice mix in it.

My wife makes a killer cherry topped cheese cake. I swear all that woman has to do is dip her finger in something, and it tastes great.

I like monkey bread cake and pistachio pudding.  Warm Peach cobbler.  Others escape me right now.

Yes Ajace, Monkey bread is excellent also.

Christmas morning Mom makes a souffle thing with scrambled eggs, cheese, and sausage, with it she makes monkey bread. With some fruit on the side it makes a real good, easy Christmas brunch.

Kevin,

It can't be a very potent killer...you are still alive.

I'd be very suspicious if my wife baked a killer anything.... Come to think of it, I'd be extremely suspicious is my wife were to actually cook something.
