My Ocean Retreat I close my eyes tightly Trying to imagine my perfect peaceful place The place I go when I need to relax The ivory sand warm The breeze fading as the sun says its’ farewell The moon casting a gentle glow as it rises to the occasion The waves kissing the shoreline The sounds around me are soothing I feel the days strain leaving my body It’s like I can actually feel the sand beneath my feet The breeze on my face Now I am ready to say goodnight Off to dream land for another night Author unknown...
