Here in western NY we call it Pop.....................
Someone actually did a study awhile back to find out exactally where it changes from pop to soda here in NY.
Another interesting note is that although Coca-cola is the top dog most other places, it is a bit of an anomoly that here in Western NY, Pepsi is number 1

Pepsi is certainly number one here now in MY house, because we all collect the pepsi "iTunes" winning caps for free songs for the ipod.....
All you people who drink Pepsi products, get winning caps and throw them away.........shame on you.........

Dr Pepper is huge here in Oklahoma and Texas, they don't have Coke or Pepsi beat but are gaining on them both.
