I enjoyed using the LG VX6100 and it could have been my own phone. Of course, like all LG phone free personalization is a hassle and you need to get a data cable and bitpim to transfer free ringtones and graphics, but if that's of minor importance, you'll appreciate the sound quality, the very sturdy design, the simplicity and efficiency of menus. After two weeks of using it, I'm surprised to see that nothing in particular annoyed me with the LG VX6100, it was just a good phone. The speakerphone performs well and I didn't have complains about it. Battery life is good It's only down side, I would say, is some surprising oddities such as a black and white outside LCD and only a basic VGA camera. With a phone that looks so classy, I would have a expected a bit more on this side. I also noticed that, like several phones on the market, the LG VX6100 gets hot when used for a long time but I've seen phones who would get hotter.
All-in-all, the LG VX6100 is a good choice for most of you. Busy people will appreciate its functionalities and students will find that it addresses most of their needs.
