These focal points of the modern family room have a very specific sales cycle. Things get serious in late November on Black Friday then continue through early February.
Why early February? The largest sporting event in the U.S. - the Super Bowl. Who does not want to watch the big game on a big and beautiful screen?
Since these are the times when most people purchase plasma TVs it should be assumed that sales volume decreases significantly in the middle of February into March. Retailers hate to have, "out of season" merchandise in their stores or warehouses so they discount, sometimes heavily.
If you can wait a few weeks after the big game you might be able to save big!
