Macintosh data backup

You’ve got a ton of data and information that you cannot afford to lose to power spikes or failing hardware. Good news for Intel based Macs owners.

Users can now get Prosoft‘s Data Backup software for their Macs. This great software package provides backup and restore, plus a ton of support like schedules, synchronization, file exceptions and even compression if you want it. If you have a current version of the software you can get a free update on their website. If not, it’s priced at $60 and runs on Mac OS X 10.2 and on up.

If you have not checked out .mac you should.  The service may be just what you need.  It is a little pricey(compared to free) but with many other features it may be for you.
