Problem Dirt Devil Hose
01/13/01 at 7:31pm

I have a Dirt Devil, Swivel Glide, Platinum.  The hose that is on the side of the machine keeps coming out of it's slot. I just finished vaccuming my apartment and had to replace it about 5 times.  Does anyone else have this problem, and if so, what is the remedy?  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have trouble with the hose coming out, but my daughter and
I each have one that the hose is accordian style and it is too short---the cleaner keeps falling over every time we use the hose....but my mother and someone else I know, have older models and their hoses are smooth and a lot longer.
