Why is/was the forum goofy today?

Last night, when daily backups happen, someone/somewhere posted a message at right fraction of a second to mess up the forums. Pretty amazing actually.

The primary problem has been repaired.

The ex member thing is only cosmetic(people only look banned but are not) at this point and will work itself out as time goes on. Our webmaster had to mess with a whole lot of stuff and this is one of the by-products.

Sorry for the trouble folks. One day we are going to switch to a forum that is actually dependable...

There is a name for this phenomenon: "Murphy's Law." Whatever can go wrong, will go wrong, and at the worse possible time. Wink
