I have checked out all the standard vacuum then, tried a Simplicty vacuum. It worked pretty good!. I just have never heard of it. Any opinions?????

I was just looking at one too. They seem to be nice but Im not sure that there any better. Did you get a price on the one you tried. I use to own a Kirby at it lasted 30 yrs. If its anything like them at a better price, it should be good.

Looked at a Simplicity today Feb 9th. It was very impressive. Moved like a self propelled but was not. Salesperson very knowledgable. Gave great promises about service every six months free of labor charges. Four year waranty. Price $450 which included extra hose and tools Think we are going to buy one.

The one I tried was the maroon one, which had the lowest rpm (I thinks that what their called???)and with any old vacuum trade in it was $359.99 plus tax

The one I tried out was the maroon one with the lower moter power. I was pleased with it's ability to pick up animal hair so easily and my 6yr and I really ground in rice cereal in with our feet and it vacuumed up really nicely. It cost was $359.00 with trade in and a 2 yr warrenty. Maintanence sounded very reasonable. Ex if a barring in the motor was to go, he could repair it with labor cost for about $30.00. Compared to the filters for the bagless I just returned were $70.00 and you usually need 2 a year!!!!! Also in the Simplicity they can make repairs to the motor. The out "throw aways" you have to buy a new vacuum.
