Suction-Powered Passion

HUNTINGTON -- Five-year-old Aidan Adkins says his three favorite things are robots, bubblegum and vacuums.

But vacuums, he says, are his most favorite. He loves them with an intensity that other preschoolers might have for superheroes or dinosaurs.

Free vacuum cleaners, news coverage and not even six yet!  Where did I go wrong?  Anyway . . .

Thanks for the link M00seUK.  Though the age of "acceptance" has been a long time coming, it's good to see that parents are more encouraged to allow children to explore harmless though different interests.  I had the same interests when I was his age, though I liked mustard sandwiches as much as I liked bubble gum, but met with a bit of opposition as far as my curiosity abbout vacuum cleaners was concerned.  Nobody wanted his kid to appear to be an "oddball".
