I've had a Sebo for 5 1/2 years. Bought it in the UK and brought it back to Canada with us when we moved here. it's been fantastic. The 220 volt motor means we have to lug around a heavy converter, but it's worth it. Very good suction, bags and filters easy to change. Easy to clean when bits of thread get caught up in the brush. And blockages equally easy to sort out because of the ingenious German engineering 0- essentially everything comes apart easily. I still have colleagues pick up bags in the UK when they travel there, because until I checked the internet recently I hadn't found any retailers in Canada that carried them. I have an upright - suction keeps going strong no matter how much dust is in the bag. I've gone through I guess 20 bags in 5 years. Hope this helps.
