The vacuum you are probably thinking of is the Dyson

Hi Misty. I think it's called the Henry (Johny Vac). Good luck.

Hi Misty,
Just to clear up any confusion, you have two guys called Bruce,
on this forum. I'm English, and live in the U.K.
The Dyson is yellow and grey with a clear plastic area where you can see your dirt flying round. It has no bag and is an upright turbo vac. It's quite a new invention.
The Henry, that the other Bruce refers to is a red "tub" type with a face on the front of it and it appears to be wearing a bowler hat, the pipe plugs into where the nose would be. In the same series there is Charles, Edward, George and a couple of others I can't remember, all in different colours. I hope this clears it up for you.
