I have wanted a central vacuum for quite a few years, and finally when we moved to our new house I decided that it couldn't wait any longer. So I decided to look around for the most powerfull vacuum unit that I could find, and I found the Riccar. I have also been very impressed with the attachment set they sell. The powernozzle has a metal bottom plate and brushroll, as well as many other metal parts. The belt is also permanent and will never need to be changed. As a vacuum collector, I have and have used many vacuums, and this central vac has ben the most powerfull, and done the best job grooming the carpet of any vacuum I have used. I swear by my central vac.
I stronlgy recommend a Riccar central vac to everyone.

Dirt is completely removed from the living area, permanentally.

Hose can be a little difficult when you are in a hurry.
Price, these vacuums aren't the cheapest, but they cost less than a Kirby for a average sized house.
