TOP 10 REASONS WHY SOME MEN FAVOR HANDGUNS OVER WOMEN

TOP 10 REASONS WHY SOME MEN FAVOR HANDGUNS OVER WOMEN #10 - YOU CAN TRADE AN OLD 44 FOR A NEW 22. #9 - YOU CAN KEEP ONE HANDGUN AT HOME, AND HAVE ANOTHER FOR WHEN YOU'RE ON THE ROAD. #8 - IF YOU ADMIRE A FRIEND'S HANDGUN, AND TELL HIM SO, HE WILL PROBABLY LET YOU TRY IT OUT A FEW TIMES. #7 - YOUR PRIMARY HANDGUN DOESN'T MIND IF YOU KEEP ANOTHER HANDGUN FOR A BACK UP. #6 - YOUR HANDGUN WILL STAY WITH YOU EVEN IF YOU RUN OUT OF AMMO. #5 - A HANDGUN DOESN'T TAKE UP A LOT OF CLOSET SPACE. #4 - HANDGUNS FUNCTION NORMALLY EVERY DAY OF THE MONTH. #3 - A HANDGUN DOESN'T ASK, "DO THESE NEW GRIPS MAKE ME LOOK FAT?" #2 - A HANDGUN DOESN'T MIND IF YOU GO TO SLEEP AFTER YOU USE IT. And, the number one reason a handgun is favored over a woman #1 - YOU CAN BUY A SILENCER FOR A HANDGUN!

I think you can do a little more than take an eye out with a spud gun. This one is good for planting potatoes in a 300 to 500 foot radius. This unnamed future McGyver in training, built this pneumatic model. It has a 1.5 inch diameter barrel. He is holding it by the air chamber, with the barrel pointing down. The firing mechanism is electric, using three 9 volt batteries attached to a momentary contact switch to operate a garden sprinkler 28 volt solenoid. He can change barrels to a 3/4 inch one with adapters. Pumped up to between 90 and 100 psi for this "kill". Has pumped it to 140 psi, but takes a bit of work. At last report the boulder was still recovering from its injuries, and should survive, but with slightly impaired mobility.

Oh Windy One Nice looking spud gun! Would be great if you could convert that into a snowball machine....think of the great snowball fights you could have....would probably have to wear body armor made out of Teflon though...LOL Thanks for sharing your pic! Paula

Paula, I asked my son if he has ever fired snowshots out of it and he hasn't. He's tried toilet paper roll centres loaded with stones to make a cannister round for it. He thought about what you wrote, and he has a section of the 1.5 inch pipe here that he is thinking of loading with packed slush; allowing it to freeze to make a bunch of ice bullets. If you wore body armor of teflon to stop potato rounds, are you planning on cooking them to make hash browns?
