Permobil C500

Wheelchair manufacturer Permobil has a new “modular seating system” called the Rehab Seating System (RS) and it will be available on their C500 wheelchair base.

The new chair will include a number of power seat functions that take into consideration almost all seating postures. Then the Intelligent Control System (ICS) lets the user program one, two or three positions via the switch box.

The Permobil’s VerteFlex Back promises a custom fit for the user’s back, flexing and rotating all the while the ErgoCentric Tilt and Recline allows for 75 degrees of full motion tilt. Permobil’s vision is to improve the life of the user via mobility solutions. So add up the ICS, the VerteFlex and the ErgoCentric Tilt, and you’ve got one mean power machine from Permobil.
