I purchased this vac because it was time for me to get a new shop vacuum. This vac resembles a Craftsman (costs $20 more than Ridgid, but only has 1-yr warranty) by design. When I use the blower, I remove the top from unit; & the blower mode works REALLY good. Before I bought this vac, I had a Craftsman 16 Gallon W/D vac (w/o blower) & a Craftsman electric leaf blower (both worked good) but I wanted this 2-in-1 unit so I don't have to deal with too many tools. I upgraded to HEPA filter since I use the vac often; & purchased the 5-pc car detail kit.

Date Purchased: 12/2008
Price Paid: $80
Recommend: Yes
Pros:
Shop vac converts to leaf blower
2 1/2" dia. tools
Powerful suction
16 gallon capacity
Lifetime warranty
265 mph blowing velocity
Doesn't take up too much storage space

Cons:
A bit loud
Cannot use bags for easy dirt disposal
Cannot mulch leaves/branches
Crevice tool, dusting brush & floor brush sold seperately
