Hoover Corded Cyclonic Stick SH20030 . . .
Original Message   Nov 5, 2011 5:19 pm
Howdy,

Has anyone tried the Hoover SH20030 yet?  It's the corded version of Hoover's rechargeable  Lynx stick vac (BH50010).  Looks like a nice alternative due to the lesser price and because it plugs in and you're good to go whenever you please.  A shortcoming is that the power switch is situated below the cleaner's handle and you either have to stoop or lift the machine to turn it on.  A plus is that its replaceable filter can be rinsed out.

The even cheaper Hoover Flair (approx. 40 to 60 bucks) did well in CR ratings though it ranked poorly in emissions.  That issue will probably pose little problem for a number of users as the machine is meant basically for quick spiffying up and not long runs.

Thats handy - I'll await the Vax version if it comes over to the UK. Much prefer corded over cordless. Something for my Mother.
